    You and a guest could be invited to a special preview screening of the highly anticipated film

    BROTHERS OF THE HEAD

    DETAILS:-

    TIME: Screening starts at 6.30pm (strictly no admittance after this
    time)
    DATE: Monday 2 October 2006
    VENUE: IFI, Eustace St, DUBLIN

    ***Please note this is not a ticket***

    How do you get a pair of tickets? Funny you should ask:

    1. MAKE SURE YOU'RE ABLE TO MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE IFI, DUBLIN - if you're not, please don't apply as space is VERY limited

    2. Click on the link at the bottom of this list - if there's a pair of tickets left you'll be asked to enter your details.

    3. Once you've entered your details, you'll be directed to your e-ticket, which you'll need to print out (so make sure you're connected to a printer!)

    4. Present said e-ticket to the nice people at the cinema at least 10 minutes before the screening starts.

    MOVIE SYNOPSIS:

    BROTHERS OF THE HEAD

    Written by Tony Grisoni and from the creators of Lost In La Mancha, Brothers Of The Head is the explosive story of shadowy cultural icons Tom and Barry Howes, conjoined twins from an isolated headland on the east coast of England. Plucked from the safety of their isolation in the mid-seventies, they were groomed by one of rock's leading impresarios to be part of the burgeoning English punk rock scene. Their already complex situation became intensified with the introduction of journalist Laura Ashworth who quickly moved from the band's rehearsal room to the twins'
    bed.

    Their legendary first gig at the King's Head, a study in raw performance power, cemented their place in the punk rock pantheon and gained them an instant cult following. All too soon after this the unbearable tensions within the twins' relationship, further complicated by the added pressure of imminent fame, overwhelmed the band and left the Howes twins in a potentially deadly situation.


    Brothers Of The Head is released nationwide by Eclipse Pictures on October 6 2006. Cert 16.
