New iPod battery

I've had my 15GB iPod for 2 1/2 years and, as has happened to a lot of people, the battery went after about a year. It still works if it's kept charging, but once I take it out of the charger it dies after about 20 minutes. The Apple Store opposite Trinity College told me to get in touch with a company called Mactivate and from checking out their website it looks like they charge €79 to replace the battery. They sound v professional from the website, but was just wondering if anyone's used them before and if they were happy with the service? Also does anyone know of anywhere cheaper? €79 seems pretty steep for a battery...
