Dell 5150c i want to change the case - advice needed

I bought a Dell 5150c recently as a HTPC, but the damn thing is way too noisy.

I'm thinking about buying a new case to house the components - something silent preferably!!

I need advice on which case to purchase as i don't want to be running up additional uneccesary expense.

The Dell 5150c is a small form PC (pico BTX i believe) so i will need a case that will allow me to fit the motherboard etc.

    Any ideas?

New motherboard really is what you need, BTX is all but dead.

Even Intel has signalled that it is not the interested in BTX anymore and the after market case makers rarely ever catered to the BTX form factor.

It would be a lot easier to acquire a new motherboard transfer the components into that and use whatever case takes your fancy.

Still the only BTX case I know of readily available is this Lian Li PC767 case (makers link), OcUK deliver to Ireland too so your in luck there. However it is a tower case not a small form factor unit but it would allow you to install large and very quiet after market coolers to lower the noise output.

Google turned up this Thermaltake Pico BTX case intended to be used for HTPC's but I've no idea where you will find one.
