well finally got my 100mm macro lens.... actually arrived last week at work, but as i was out sick only got my hands on it today. Just picked a random subject (some bizarre bug figure) and background (chess board)... here's the results:

    1. the subject
    2. look at the size of its bulging wings/body
    3. 'smile' ... the very 1st one i took tonight and the fuzziness at lower jaw makes it all the more sinister, well i think anyway ;)

cam is a 350D, lens is the 100mm 2.8 macro lens. Used tripod and the internal flash... no PS'ing done other than resize to 1/4.

    please be kind :)

I like the 3rd one but I think the "bug" is a bit boring to look at!

Get out there and photograph some real bugs lol
