There's an extension for Firefox which apparently allows you to download videos from several sites, haven't tried it but it's #2 in their extensions by downloads.

Of course you'll need to be running Firefox, but that's not a bad thing:)

keepvid.com will let u download a ny video from youtube into a flv format but then you'll either need a fash player or some converting software like "super"
