Any pointers on good/cheap travel insurance?

I used to know these kind of things, It's been a while since I've been traveling and I'm off to South America with 3 flights in each direction. Alot could go wrong! Definitely needs me some insurance! Any thoughts?

Are you with VHI for your healthcare? I think they have travel insurance for their members.

They take into account if you have BUPA or VHI
The policy is good and very reasonable if you take out yearly insurance
