Dungeons and Dragons pretending to be Lord of the Rings, tbh. How do they hope to flesh it out over three movies, it looks like everything happened in the trailer, let alone the feature.

Two of my favourite actors (Irons* and Malkovich) and i still cringe. Ill still go see it because im a sucker for fantasy films.

*His voice makes my bowels shake, also, he has a pink castle >_>

looked up about the books on wiki, they sound just as crap (think star wars but in a lotr setting and thats it.)

Maybe you were being superfluous, or I was expecting something much worse, but um, what exactly is so horrible about that trailer that makes your anus bleed? Don't get me wrong, it hardly looks like it'll be a good film, I'm just wondering did I miss something?

I've never seen Dungeons & Dragons, so thankfully I'll never know that pain.

Fantasy films these days seem a bit too by the numbers. After LOTR, it seems everything has been set up for a good old hollywood style cynical interpretation. I found The Chronicles Of Narnia to be fairly rubbish, all sheen but no heart.

I'm also dreading the adaptation of His Dark Materials.
