any one use adobe flex?

    anyone recommend getting into it ?
    ive to do a project this year in flash and im really stuck for ideas and came across this, might be good connecting with databases etc

    would anyone have any ideas for a small program which querys with database etc, like i was thinking a workout program for a gym, where you input how man hours you did etc and it monitor your progress...:confused:

    I've used it a little. It needs a server, of course, and that's expensive. Have you looked at Laszlo? It's a pretty cool Flash solution.

    OpenLaszlo is an open source alternative to Adobe's Flex. It's free so you don't have to shell out money to Adobe in order to get your project going.
