make sure you go to universal studios, there are 2 parks, universal studio and islands of adventure, you can get a combo ticket for both at the gate or in your hotel, idealy try and do a day at each or if your in a rush get there first thing and you should be able to cover both parks in 1 day. disney is best if you have kids, magic kingdom and epcot are the 2 best parks in my opinion, you can buy park hopper tickets wich are valid for all parks with no time restriction. just don't buy your tickets from the multiple huts you will see on international drive, most are used and won't get you in(disney scan your finger!!). youn can also do various tours to other parts of florida such as gatorland(alligator attraction),airboats and kennedy space centre wich i highly recommend, its only an hour or so from orlando, most hotels have leaflets for various tour companies or you could hire a car if you drive.

The airboats on the way to the Kennedy Space Center was brilliant when I did it. You get up close to the alligators and at the end we were asked if we wanted to hold one in our hands and get a picture of one.I think the one we did was on St Johns River and well worth the extra few dollars to check it out.

Cheers for that. I'll more than likely rent a car.

Is there anything in Orlando city itself worth seeing??

the city itself is pretty much a financial district with a few theatres and indoor arena thrown in,all the "holiday" stuff is centred around international drive/disney/universal.
