    The whole site was down from about 14.00 to 14.30 for me anyways. Dog slow at the moment but lunchtime is peak time...

    There seem to be some problems with www.boards.ie from here but pie.boards.ie seems to be zipping it. May be just a localised problem from here....

    Perhaps the fact that the site went down for a while and then a large number of users didnt come back after that (and hence less load on the machines) is the reason for the alleged new found fastness?
