The 1st ticket will be purchased prior to the event to guarenteed it. The second ticket will be subject to availabillity after the event.

Yes still going ahead as planed. There seems to be alot of interest. It's difficult to say exact numbers but we're expecting 80ish runners.

Just got knocked out of this in 5th on probably the worst beat of my life...

Fcuking 3 outer on the river against Willow for an 80K pot...

Played the hand perfectly and got fcuking rivered...

I was gutted for you, played the hand prefect and got busted.

Willow went on to win it, beating the lad in seat 9 heads up (paddy can't remember his surname)

Paddy walsh seat 7 finished 3rd and ray masters (dave masters dad finished forth)

Willow and paddy did a deal on 10% of any winnings from the ticket when they went heads up.

The runner runner split pot on the hand before we broke for final (AJ v A5 against sultan when, on an ace high flop, the board paired and then Q on river ) would have given u a nice stack going in aswel. You played well though. All i could manage was 6th when Willow sent me packing too. Contrats to her anyway

Rory, you should really have raised preflop with that hand.

I know but you have to realise the situation. I had about 38K, Ray Masters had about 50K, shortstack had about 25K.

Willow had about 90K and Paddy had about 100K.

Theres a ticket for 1st, 590 for 2nd and nothing for third. Most pots are getting stolen preflop and ive been playing super tight. I could raise and rob the blinds, but I was looking for a double up so I limped hoping for a flop I could double up on.

I got the exact flop I wanted, and played it perfectly to get Willow in. She even admitted after the hand that she thought she was miles ahead and never had me on a hand as strong as AQ.

If id won that hand I was 2nd in chips on 80K, well in with a chance at winning the ticket.

To be honest the hand played exactly as I had hoped, until that SICK river knocked me out of my chair...

To be fair, there was nothing that you could have done differently given the situation.

To add salt to your wounds, the cash was spilt after you were knocked out.
