Is it just me or does everyone in MA suffer from toe injuries?
OK I'm a Taekwondo practicioner so alot of work is done by the legs, had a grading yesterday and had to spar a couple of rounds - no problem -woke up this morning bruised and sore toe on left foot - don't remember using my left even!
Is it just me or will I get over this in time - just recovered from a small fracture on right big toe!
    Sore buggers

yep...when I did WTF TKD had alot of toe problems, badly bruised a few, xray depts after etc.

just part of the sport I guess.

I rarely get them in Muay Thai cause yoru kicking with the shin, not the foot as in TKD.

would taping them together help i wonder?
how do you train your shins?is it like Van Damme in kick boxer where you whale away on a bamboo til you fall down bleeding?

just hit thai heavy bags, their filled with sand, and rock hard, start slow and easy and build up. thai pad work also helps. massage in Tiger Balm or Thai Oil if sore.

    I never taped my toes.

I keep hurting my big toe on the left when Im sparring. Im not sure if its because of my kicks or my footwork (or if it happens when the fight hits the ground). I used to hurt my toes off mats that had gaps between them when grappling in judo class.

I have broken the little toe on my right foot so many times its just kinda floating around.
as regards taping toes I don't know if I'd bother. Every time you put weight on your foot the bones spread slightly, so to allow for this the tape would probably be too loose when your foot is up, i.e. kicking
