    Hi All

I need some help please. Im going to be buying a laptop in the next few days but i dont really know much about them. What are the main things i should be looking for when buying? I have about 1300 max to spend on this laptop i will be using it for internet (downloading) and Football management games (relys on speed and memory rather then graphics). I would be very greatful if yous can give me some advice since yous are the experts! :D

    Thanks in advance
    Paul

You have more than enough to get a decent laptop there for what your needs are. Have a look at the Dell Inspiron 6400, get the minimum amount of RAM possible though and you can upgrade it yourself when you buy the RAM cheaper elsewhere. It won't take a whole lot of graphics power to run FM or similar.

The lovely people at the Broadband forum will be able to help you out with your BB query and what is available where you live. I would go for the laptop, seems fine to me.
