In 1981 Indi came to the big screen for the first time and all sequels were great. Just read the Empire - Magazine and there is a script for Indiana Jones IV and Harrison Ford (64yrs of age) would even play the character again.

What do you think - should there be another Indiana Jones movie?

I don't see any reason why not, IMDB has its status under pre-production.

i heard abour this around a year ago,

if it comes, i'd see it, partly to see if its any good, and partly because i loved the others.

I think Sean Connery has actually aged better than Harrison Ford. It will be difficult to have him back to play the father.

If they do make another movie my reckoning is that they'll have Harrison playing Indie at an older age more akin to his actually age. So they'd probably need to set it in the 50's to make it believable.

There was one Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episode that cameoed Harrison as an older Indiana with a beard and it worked really well.

Yeah but he was only in it for a few minutes and most of that was spent sitting in a chair in a dark room iirc.

I personally don't think this movie is a good idea and is going to be badly received by fans and the general public when it eventually appears.

Did I read somewhere that Lucas wants to approach this in the same manner he approached The Phantom Menace?

    THERE IS NO GOD!!!!

Its nuts unless they go for Indy and Son with the son doing all the running. Better still don't do it.

Agree about Connery! So it could be three generations of Jones'.

It would have to be Indy in the 50's all right, up against a group of baddies that don't exist any more so as to not upset anyone, in somewhere steeped in history and buried treasure, well the bad guys could be the Russians, or come to think of it, there were enough Nazis still running around South America, coupled with the strong catholic tradition there, that could be the place for some smuggled religious artifact, who knows, it'll be fun finding out.
Also, Ford is probably chomping at the bit to be Indy again, given how long its been since he had a decent movie.

Your're not far off! I heard and read in magazines it was Natalie Portman who was going to play his long-lost daughter :)
