    While playing BF2 is there anythings that you think should be there but just aren't.

    When I was playing there, I saw an enemy UAV but couldn't alert my team mates. So I was thinking that they should have the same thing you use to point out tanks and the such, because if I knew there was an enemy UAV around I would be on high alert that the other team knows where I am, and the possibility that an artillery strike is on the way.

    What do you think?

    I always wanted hand held AA weapons. Apparently these exist in 2142. So yay!

    You mean like that shoulder held SAM missile that could lock onto heli's and planes, that was in POE2?

    I always wanted a random damage system for vehicles - whereby if you got hit there would be a random 'thing not working'.
    like if you were in a tank and got hit by a AT missile, the turret might no longer traverse, or one of the tracks came off so you could only move in a circle, or the main gun couldn't fire,
    also if you were in an attack helio; the chain gun wouldn't fire, or the tail rotor stopped working - that kind of thing.
    you could even use the same sytem for people, getting injured could result in being blind, or not being able to stand up, unable to fire weapon etc.

    just my 2 cent's worth

    like the system in flashpoint
    depending on what part of the tank you hit when it got damaged enough it wouldn't work people if they got shot in the leg would either lose speed have to go prone or have to crawl same sort of stuff happened with all the vehicles

    Although now that I think of it I'm against this idea, it reduces my dominance of the skies. I love that on most maps as soon as you get that "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEP!!!" you know where its coming from and you nuke it before they do much damage.

    I love this game... :)

    some of that stuff is in ET:QW, if you've seen the video of the amphibious apc with 6 wheels where they were shooting the wheels off? looks nifty.

    Seriously, if you come face to face with a vehicle (obviously the enemy need to be in it) you are screwed... I remember before they borked the grenade launcher I would take on a humvee or a vodnik, now I run and cry to mommy....

    I'm not saying they shouldnt be in the game cos thats what makes the game cool.
    I'm also not saying they should be easy as sh1t to destroy...
    Bah, I dont know what I'm saying...

    Choppers melt my head too...

    Things that should have made it -
    Tunnels would have been nice, desert rats etc...

    Seriously. If you are an assault troop and you face a tank, you should get ass raped. However, two competant AT guys will shred a tank in ten seconds. Its a team game, no one class does everything. (*Except spec ops. Go spec ops!)

    A chopper is pwning you? Wheres your own chopper to TV it to death? Where are your own jets? Why isn't someone hopping into an AA site? Why is that chopper not being taken out in five seconds by two guys in jeeps?

    Theres a solution to everything, you just have to be smart about it.

    I dont disagree with most of what you are saying, but common? AA site? You would be better off taking out a pistol and having a go when facing against a good heli or plane pilot.

    Uh, no, those things were made super lethal a couple patches ago. If the timing is right you can blast a chopper out of the air, especially if they're damaged or distracted.

    Ah a good sniper can take out a helicopter no problem. Hehe its funny watching it spiral out of control because there is no pilot lol.

    I also took out 3 tanks within 10 seconds and I was just an engineer :D

    Though another thing I'd like, is to be able to parachute into the level above say a base that you have captured, which would eliminate spawn campers from getting you.

    Anyone ever see SWAT?
    I think a well placed .50 cal shot should take 3/4 a choppers health like in the film, as this is what they do in real life.
    Plus they should go through humvees and vodniks etc no prob.

    The m95s only use is to go through chopper windcreens, give it its propper ability anti light vehicle thats what its for...

    Yeah but then shooting a normal person with it that powerful would literally rip him in half.

    They had the .50cal in RainbowSix 3 but it was only available when the option was turned on as the weapon was far too powerful.

    Totally agree, too many times i've seen the shell bounce of the humvee or vodnik. Once i fired it into the back it bounced out rolled down the hill a bit and knocked 75% off my health.

    After playing POE, i'd like to see flak type guns instead of the sams. reloads a bitch.

    After going prone a .5 - 1 second delay before you can shoot, waay too much drop and shoot at the moment.

    And an idea from the vehicles damge in certain areas, what about injuring players, a shoot in the leg, slows you down, in the arm puts off your aim etc. Of course a medic can cure it.

    On big maps, they should have a Herc' 130, i.e.

    or one of them big tilt-wing turboprop thingies, i.e.

    or a 'big' helo ('53 Jolly Green Giant), i.e.
    ch53-c.jpg

    ...to transport tanks/APCs more quickly as well, instead of just troops in the '60.

    Would make/have made for faster, more frantic gameplay on large maps.

    Of course a soldier vs a tank is only one winner... bit obvious that one...
    I'm talking Vodniks, humvee's etc...

    I play the game well...
    What your talking about is team work, which most of the time, goes straight out the window. If my squad stuck together then your tactics would work.
    However, time and time again, all I see me being squad leader used for is a mobile spawn point...
    I must get a proper headset and start talking (or roaring) in game...

    Played some Karkand and Kareem Abdul Jalalabad, I never really played with the F2000 before, what a lethal gun...I love it..

    Of course, but it will depend on map and tactic.

    I remember being invited into a squad of Germans on Oman (size 64) ages ago: they had the squad leader holding the UH60 steady over the construction site at some stupidly high (but oh-so-convenient) altitude for ages, with squad members spawning in the UH60 and HALO'ing it repeatedly to cap flags with no opforce about (Commander was 'in tune' and using UAV as often as possible to highlight 'empty' flags for our convenience). Some of the most accomplished and enjoyable teamplay I've ever ran into, even though the team leader was doing nought but stay alive/level/stationary and spawn us.

    With respect to my earlier suggestion (large cargo plane/helo), sure enough you'd need some fairly-well coordinated gameplay and cooperating squads. Imagine dropping two whole squads, or a squad and an APC or tank on unsuspecting/unprepared NME flag right at the back of the NME 'side'. With the threat, on the other hand, that if the trash hauler gets jumped by SAMs or NME jets, you be about 30% down on total forces during the respawn wait... interesting tactical choices ensue ;)

    I'd love a stealth chopper. A tiny transport one that doesn't show up on UAV or sattelite or something. That'd be fun.
