    Hi Guys,
Managed to get free tickets for the CL game on Tuesday night for the Celtic match. I never been to Glasgow before just wondering does anyone have any ideas to the best drinking places and places to stay

Sauchihall (sp?) Street (pronounced sucky-hall) is good for pubs and clubs. Dunno about a tue night for the night clubs. Before the game head down the Gallowgate, its where u will find alot of the fans. Its a bit rough and ready down there but on match days/nights its perfectly safe. Try Bairds Bar, its always packed before the games.

As for restaurants, there are loads of every description. The city centre is fairly compact so u will find something u like no problem.
    Enjoy.

Be aware that the majority of pubs and resturants in the city centre will not allow you in with football colours of any typoe on, bring a few spare shirts.
