Play.com have decided to stop letting customers from outside the UK pay in Sterling with our credit card's.

I have been using Play for years alway's paying Sterling(my credit card company does the exchange rate,no doubt taking a cut for themselves)but today I could not place an order in Sterling,I would have to use their currency converter.

I tried to order Saint John's Wort on DVD.

    £5.99
    or
    €9.99

The current exchange rate is 1 GBP = 1.48582 EUR which would make it €8.90

Why am I paying €1.09 more this week than last?

    Paul.
