depends on where you store is and it's class (if it's big). most stores don't get demo pods anymore due to the fact that they just get wrecked

It depends on if Xtravision will stock the Wii. Haven't seen them advertise it yet.

Well they are basing it off the success of the Gamecube maybe :o . Lets hope Wii sells a little better here.

I'm sure they'll yell me too if it sells well but they aren't going to be the leaders of supporting the Wii in Ireland unless Nintendo cuts a deal with them or something.

The Game I usually go to had signs up for Wii and PS3 last time I was there (pre delay of PS3, I assume those are down now).

I think argo's are giving it a fair shot because of the popularity of DS (they extented DS section in catalogue already). They figure it'll sell reasonably well anyway. As long as most major retailers sell it at launch it has a fair shot. It is the only new console on the Irish market this Xmas so it'd be stupid not to stock it IMO.

With the lights and distance needed from the screen there could be issues.

I hope it is not fiddly at home to play and setup..

Trusting in Nintendo though, there stuff is top notch.

I can't remember xtravision ever having game demos. I'd say hmv and smiths would be your best bet for that sort of thing.

No it's not really big, it's around midsize and is the usual ps2/xbox fest.

nearly all xtra-visions are "ps2/xbox fests" (moreso PS2/PSP) because XV is cozy with sony, mainly because nearly 70-80% of game sales/rentals are playstation. you'll be hard pushed to find a big nintendo section in an XV store these days
