Xbox 360 doesn't support DVI and there is no real difference between component and VGA.

Composite is a SD connection BTW, I assume you meant component

He means theres no actual dvi cable, but a dvi convertor would work off the vga cable, if your tv only had a dvi input.

VGA is best, especially considering it will support upscaling to 1080p for all media with the next update.
You do have to adjust colour settings with VGA though as its a little washed out compared to component.
As Grumps said above, there's no DVI cable.

Is there really?! I'm getting a new TV in a couple of days and it hasn't got VGA! Just component and HDMI! I though component was almost the same as vga, in fact I thought the same but only with the component having better colour!

    VGA is better, with tweaking.

I have the component and vga cables and I prefer to use the vga cable myself.

I already said Ciaran that its washed out.
Component, doesnt seem as sharp yet is very colourful.
VGA is slightly dull but very, very sharp, with a little tweaking in the colour settings on my projector, the VGA is better.
