    I know its been in the news for a few days now, but just incase nobody has heard....

    Basically a 3.3 million-year-old partial skeleton of an early hominid baby was found in Ethiopia. Its an extremely important find, as so much can be learned from that remains of juveniles.

    From what I've read, I think it was three years old when it died, and an the preservation is remarkable, as well as the small amount of missing bones.

    Ironically, the discovery was announced the day after my lecturer finished up on Australopithecines. :)
