    Hi,
    I'm thinking of travelling across Europe for a while. Does anyone know if Vodafone or an equivalent offer the 3g wireless service where you can have near-broadband speeds from any location on the move? What would be the story with roaming etc, ie, would I have to get the contract here, then bring it over, or could I get a contract over there and be ok to go anywhere mainland Europe?

    The Terms and conditions for Vodafone Irlands €50/month "Unlimited Data " 3g wireless service explicitly exclude data roaming.

    5. Data Roaming is excluded from the Vodafone Unlimited Data Tariff.
