Actually no - I think he's refering to the 'new' second generation Nano. It's not listed by Griffin as being officially supported. It's probably because the new Nano does not have the curved bottom corners of the old one and may not dock correctly in the current iTrip nano.

The current dock connector iTrip should definitely work though.
