A bit of a follow on from the thread about Gordon Ramsey interview....

I dont watch the Late Late Show every week due to one simple reason, the presenter, Pat Kenny, i cant stand his interview techniques and his lack of personality.

I was wondering does anyone know how long his contract runs for and is there any imputus for change or are people happy with him to cotinue ....

I think the show has some very interesting guests sometimes and some good topics but he lets the whole thing down, he seems to have a very scripted set of questions and does not have the ability to engage with guests and have a natural flow of questions.
I just believe the show is slowly on a downward spiral...

The thing that REALLY annoys me about PK is the way he does piece to camera. Obviously scripted and scrolling along on the autocue, Pat pretends he's making it up as he goes along. Introducing guests or competitions, he's looking up and down (faux recollection), counting on his fingers as he reems off lists etc.

Dustin got it right a few years ago when he said that instead of sun tan lotion, PK takes cuprinol on his holidays!

To the OP Kenny would have to be physically turfed out, he won't walk and RTE would need to find a replacement, we had a thread which touched on this before.

as much as a plank that Pat Kenny is he is still a big draw with some of the women on this island. he wont be replaced unless he quits or is shown on the front page of some newspaper with a prostitute or something
