As you approached the M50 along the N4 towards Dublin, the three lanes (excl. Bus Lane) were for the following:-
    left lane = M50 North
    Center lane = N4 Inbound
    Right Lane = N4 Inbound & M50 South.
The gardai were enforcing this even until yesterday.
Now I see that both the centre and right hand lanes are for both N4 Inbound & M50 South.
This will result in traffic in the centre lane intending on going onto the M50 South crossing the path of drivers in the right hand lane planning on going straight towards the city centre.
    Should I be surprised?

nope....i hate this peculiar Irish thing of allow left or right turns from the centre lane.......very hazardous at times.....

Happened to me today. Was queuing for the M50 but it was a carpark, so as I reached the far side of the roundabout, decided to go straight. Two morons pull in front of me from the centre lane, blocking me from going straight. I sit on the horn, they're oblivious.
