Firefox Problem RE: Plugins

    I'm having a bit of a prolem with Firefox 1.5.0.7 on my Windows XP Machine. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated.

    The problem is, after doing a repair install of Windows ages ago, All the plugins I installed into Firefox disappeared., Since then I have been unable to install new plugins. When I click a link to install a plugin, I get the initial dialog which has the "Install" button which counts down from 4 seconds before you can press it. Then it opens the Extensions list dialog, as per usual, only it is empty and doesn't show the plugin install process as used to be usual.

    Does anyone know what this might be as it has me stumped?
