    Hi guys n gals,

Here is the draw for the grand prix

Colin Lloyd (1) v Bob Anderson
Anto McCracken (IRE) v Mark Walsh
Kevin Painter (8) v Andy Callaby
    Andy Jenkins v Terry Jenkins
Peter Manley (5) v Chris Mason
Lionel Sams v John Part (CAN)
Wayne Mardle (4) v Denis Ovens
Gareth Gray (IRE) v Andy Smith
Phil Taylor (2) v Wes Newton
Alan Warriner-Little v Raymond van Barneveld (NED)
Roland Scholten (7, NED) v Dave Askew
    Mark Dudbridge v Steve Beaton
Dennis Priestley (6) v Geoffrey Matthews (N IRE)
Adrian Lewis v Barrie Bates (WAL)
Ronnie Baxter (3) v Alan Green
Paul Watton (N IRE) v James Wade

some very juicy first round matches with the prospect of Taylor/Barneveld in the second round.
Colin Lloyd (1) v Bob Anderson: If Anderson is sharp on his starting double in this one I reckon he could put Lloyd out.

Anto McCracken (IRE) v Mark Walsh: Anto McCracken has a good chance in this one. Walsh has had a rough year and if the Irish player can get ahead Walsh's head could go down.

Kevin Painter (8) v Andy Callaby: The two people who have beaten Taylor at this tournament. Callaby FTW

Andy Jenkins v Terry Jenkins: This one could go either way, on fom its should be Jenks.(Andy)

Peter Manley (5) v Chris Mason: Depends on how Mace the Ace starts on this one. Hopefully Mason, he is due a good run.

Lionel Sams v John Part (CAN): Part 2-0. Hopefully Part can keep up the form of the Las Vegas Desert Classic.

Wayne Mardle (4) v Denis Ovens: Should be Mardle but Ovens is a solid player and can beat anyone when on form.

Gareth Gray (IRE) v Andy Smith: Another good draw for an Irish player, depends on who takes their chances in this one.

Phil Taylor (2) v Wes Newton: Should be Taylor but if he is going to stutter it will be in a short course match. Newton is capable of throwing good darts but will his nerve hold against Taylor, who knows.

Alan Warriner-Little v Raymond van Barneveld (NED): One word: Barneveld!

Roland Scholten (7, NED) v Dave Askew: Scholten, depending what humour he is in.

Mark Dudbridge v Steve Beaton: Both are due a good run, Dudbridge to win 2-1

Dennis Priestley (6) v Geoffrey Matthews (N IRE): Priestley is back on form so on paper it should be him.

Adrian Lewis v Barrie Bates (WAL): Hard to call a winner on this one with both having consistent years on television. Lewis 2-1

Ronnie Baxter (3) v Alan Green: Baxter should win this one.

Paul Watton (N IRE) v James Wade: Wade if his form is similar to the Matchplay.

Manley against Mace is a great first round match. There really are some great ties. I was going to leave it untilthe quarter finals before heading in but I might try get the week off work now and go into the whole lot. Cant wait. This tournament and the World Championships are the two I go to every year
