Agh! Got an email telling us to get CV's in A.S.A.P as we're competing with other universities for places and all that and I'm sh!tting enough bricks to build the great wall of china.

Basically I'm 19 and never had a job. (well, paper boy for a few weeks when I was like 12, but that doesn't count.)

Would companies be looking for experience (even if it wasn't in computer related jobs) more than anything for this? Will college grades be much of a factor? I'm praying they will cause I think I can do really well in the course.

So I have a blank page for a CV and I have no idea what companies I'de be interested in working for (I know we'll get an informative talk) but basically I'm just anxious.

Any people who have done INTRA or are doin it this year got any words of wisdom? And if I can't get myself a placement with my blank CV (Shock Horror) what happens then?

    Agh!

INTRA happens after 3RD year, not 2nd.

What mostly likely happened is they emailed the "2nd year" list, which until about a week ago contained all of last year's 2nd years / this year's 3rd years.
Happens every year, as nobody knows exactly when the mailing lists swap over.

We (new 4th years) received a few emails to the CASE3 mailing list recently, though at least the person explained why they used the CA3 lists.

As for INTRA itself, your "CV" is just a "fill in this form on the website" which has little information apart from results of LC and 1st year, so no worries there :)
