Parking on campus

Where can I park the car when I move my stuff in (New Square)? Can you just drive on in and park where you want or do you need a permit? It would just be for half a day or something. What entrance do you drive in?

Lincoln gate is where you can drive on campus, if allowed by security of course. You'll need a permit if you're staying (which only staff can get iirc), and I think you might technically need one if driving on campus, but if you're just dropping off stuff there's no bother.

Lincoln Gate is down between the Genetics (commonly known as the end of the Hamilton Building) and the Dentistry building. Just ask the security guard on the gate if you could leave drop your stuff off.

  • OK grand thanks. What road do you have to drive off then?

Come in the same way you go out! Watch out for the Narrows, between House 37, 38, and the Sam Beckett.

Click here. The gate is where it says 'Lincoln Pl' (bottom right hand corner).
