It's cool that you get wii sports with the consle when you buy it.

yeh and by the sounds of it it may just be the most interesting version, using the remote for knife actions and aiming like your holding a real rifle etc..

I think I remember reading somewhere that it was free.

I'd recommend everyone without a DS at least add Trauma Centre: Second Opinion to their list of must haves. Its a remake of the DS version and that one of the best games I've played in years. Pretty hard at times though.

The only thing I didn't like was this
Whereas the Xbox 360 connects to the Internet every time you switch it on, the Wii is connected to the web every minute of every day. When you switch the Wii off it doesn’t actually power down, instead it goes into an ultra-low power mode. While in its low power mode the Wii is still connected to the web and is constantly downloading updates and news so that you’re greeted with new information and features every time you switch it on.

I rather if when you turn it off it is actually turned off fully.

well I assume you can unplug it. That'll ensure its off.

(unless the wii is updating when its still in the box...freaky)

but yeah i assume turning it off without unplugging it is like a VCR, except this one downloads stuff for you.

Yeah I'm also sure there is an option for to turn off auto downloading or there will be uproar from anyone with a download limit.
