Microsoft MCE remote question

    i have the microsoft mce remote, it powers off my pc grand (standby) but it wont come back on when i press the power button.

    do i have to enable it in the bios or something??

    something to do with s3 settings in the bios maybe. have a look on www.thegreenbutton.com for the answer:)

    Not sure why it's not working but you can use the MCE Standy Tool to gain finer control over this function.

    Take a look at the USB resume tab & tick the box to enable USB S3 resume it's pretty self explanatory but that site has a run down of all the settings on each tab and what they do.

    I have autologon set from tweakxp which works great for startup. However when I use the remote button to hibernate and then start back, the logon screen comes up. Doesanyoneknow how to bypass this also?

    Never mind - found it with my friend google.
