Ask Richard Butler in the Student Centre.

He's in charge of societies as well. He works for Richard Butler.

ucdsocietiescouncil@yahoo.ie That's (unsurprisingly) the societies council e-mail address. Try it, it'll get you further than talking to Morgan, I would think, as he's returning officer, but Gregg O'Neill is in the Forum office and would have more hands-on information. Afaik, Gregg is still in charge of things anyway. Either way, it should yield some information.

Gregg's the Chair of the Societies Council he'll be finished his term later this year.Think its October or November.

I don't think Morgan works for Richard Butler he's the Returning Officer like Blush said. However he might work on a part time basis for Richard like he was one of the "security guards" for this week.

The answer to your question is no, the societies' code of practice, forum constitution et al are not availible on-line, yet.

There are plans to upload them onto www.ucdevents.com, the new societies' website, but they won't be there for a while. We're currently concentrating to getting all the society pages uploaded. You should check it out, its a good site with lots of potential.

You can get you're hands on copy of the societies' regs from Liz in the Forum Office. If you have any particular questions, you better off posting them here or emailing me at ucdsocietiescouncil@yahoo.ie (as someone mentioned above).

Just for the sake of clarity, I have no role in the regulation of societies.
