Each ego boost a loose tooth
You can't help fiddling with
Your well-stroked suffering

A string tied to the doorknob
Pulled closed from within
On which my muse leans

Your silence swipes the saliva
Filming your clandestine teeth

While I am just a half-eaten
Piece of fruit spit out
Of your lolling mouth
The succulent juices dribbling down your chin
