My Athlon64 is begining to show its age, so I'm now considering upgrading again. I see that Komplett are doing an Intel Core Duo base pack http://www.komplett.ie/k/ci.asp?sku=10093 which looks okay. I'd beef up the CPU to an E6700 and a better graphics card (suggestions please).

Is looks to be pretty good value. What are your opinions.

    TC.

Yeah should give you a decent bump in performance though it depends on what kind of Athlon 64 you have but I assume it's an older single core one.

As for graphics if your on a budget and looking for something in the mid range get a 7600GT. Anything higher try a 7950GT or X1900XT 256MB edition.

Try 2 get a 16mb cache sata hd.

FYI, its Core 2 Duo, not Core Duo, there is a difference.
