The contents of your stereotypical Irish kitchen drawers:

Top drawer: Cutlery, corkscrew, corn on the cob skewers, broken can opener.
Second drawer: Potato masher, a burnt wooden spoon, a blunt knife, blunt scissors, a roll of black bin bags, a black handle thingy for picking up your grill tray.
Third drawer: A box of light bulbs without any bulbs in it, a rubber band, an argos catalogue, some tiny screws, a few sticky plastic carrier bags (this drawer would be full of them, were it not for the 15c tax).
Bottom drawer: The manuals for your cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine (all still in their plastic shrinkwrap). A tiny white plastic thing the builders left in your house. You have no idea what it is.

Am I right or am I right or am I a useless troll?

Top drawer. Some cutlery, mostly stuff that noone wants to use because its those forks that bend if you jab a sausage with them. That or those tea spoons that are really badly stained.

Second drawer. All manner of mad looking objects that someone once thought would be useful. For example, pizza cutters, apple corers etc. Its still easier to just use a knife no matter what anyone tells you.

Third drawer. A wide and varied selection of small steel and plastic things that absolutely nobody has any idea what they're for. Nobody will throw them out though, because they look like whatever they ARE off, they are important, and the fear is that you'll suddenly discover someday what you need them for. Also, a couple of manuals, mostly off of appliances that were sent to be recycled about 10 years ago, and the ramains of one those buy from the TV "this will cut anything and make chips" plastic things that collapses in a heap of molded plastic if you tried to slice a jelly with it.

Bottom drawer. A massive amount of well folded tea towels of the type that dont actually soak water, they just kind of push it around. And a novelty tea towel that has either a recipe for scones or the Irish constitution on it.

In my house sorta close with the first drawer and the fourth one, way off on the others.

But in my parents house, it's freaky but you got everything pretty much there.

    Daddy, is that you?:D

Nah, first drawer is right except my can opener works and I have a garlic press (crusher)

Second drawer: Place mats, cloth napkins and silver napkin rings (aren't I posh?)

Third drawer: Tea towels, oven glove and novelty apron that will never be used! (Mental note: get rid of that!)

Fourth drawer: Tealights, assorted candles, lighter and Barry White CD...for romantic evening dinners! (I kid you not!)

Edit: OP, yes you are right when it comes to my parents house except you forgot the four old keys to doors whose locks were changed years ago and a single handle belonging to a wardrobe door that has also been gone for years!

Top drawer bang on, second drawer large implements, third drawer oven gloves and tea towels, forth drawer towels.

Our top drawer has the cutlery in this order knifes, forks, spoons and tea spoons below, but I know a certain person who has knifes, spoons then forks, I just think it's plain weird, but then I'm replying to this thread...nevermind

    Oh, those drawers...

Nothing in drawers. They are being cleaned and repapered. Knives in press for fast action.

We have one drawer and it's empty because my flatmate keeps the cutlery and other kitchen things in the sink, unwashed. Gross.
