If I remember correctly, I had problems setting up the MMS settings manually, so I had them sent to my phone OTA from the Sony Ericsson Web site.

    Internet settings

Control panel > Connections > Internet accounts

Add new group, set up the following account, and add the account to the group:

    Address: isp.vodafone.ie
    Username and password required: Ticked
    Username: vodafone
    Password: vodafone
Data account > TCPIP > IP config: Automatically
Data account > TCPIP > IP DNS address: Automatically
Data account > Proxy > Use proxy server: Not ticked
Data account > Log in > Enable PPP extensions: Ticked
Data account > Log in > Authentication: PAP

Set up the following account also:

    Account name: Vodafone MMS
    Address: mms.vodafone.net
    Username and password required: dublin
    Password: dublin
Data account > TCPIP > IP config: Automatically
Data account > TCPIP > IP DNS address: Automatically
Data account > Proxy > Use proxy server: Ticked
Data account > Proxy > Proxy server address: 010.024.059.200
Data account > Proxy > Proxy server port: 80
Data account > Proxy > Proxy server exceptions: Leave blank
Data account > Log in > Enable PPP extensions: Ticked
Data account > Log in > Authentication: PAP

    E-mail settings

    E-mail address: yourname@vodafone.ie
    Connection type: POP3
    Incoming server address: pop.vodafone.ie
    Username: yourname@vodafone.ie
    Password: Your vodafone.ie password
    Outgoing server address: mail.vodafone.ie
    Use SMTP authentication: Not ticked

    MMS settings

    Service centre address: http://www.vodafone.ie/mms
    Internet account: Vodafone MMS
