At the end of last month I received a letter from Chorus saying that upgrade work would begin in my area over the next few weeks. As said they began work in my area on Monday but since then my digital tv has been out everyday from 3pm until about 8.30pm. I rang Chorus about the issue and the guy said he wasn't sure how long it would take and that I should be glad its happening  as when they are finished I will be able to avail of broadband and an improved digital tv service.
Ok don't get me wrong the prospect of getting 6meg broadband for E40 is good but I don't like having to put up with no tv in the afternoon for weeks!
So now i'm just wondering how long the upgrade work took Chorus in other areas? Was anybody elses service severely disrupted during works in their area?
