Any body have any tips on how to remove the licence sticker from a PC case?

I changed cases recently and want to remove the licence sticker from my old case so I can sell it.

Try a sharp blade to peel it off carefully?

Sell the case or the sticker?

If it's the case, that's fine, but selling the sticker is (likely) illegal. (under OEM licences anyway, and I don't think you get a sticker with other licences)

It depends on the OS version. Most of the home versions (including XP Professional) put the sticker on the back of a small booklet. Server and System Builder editions tend to require you to attach the sticker to the case of the machine its being installed on.

haha sell the sticker? come on will yis!!

just tear the sticker off! if it leaves some sticky stuff just wash it off wit a cloth. not a big problem. sure ppl always rob them off the computers in me college so it cant be that hard.

Use a hairdryer to soften the glue
