Ryanair Debacle

I travelled to Bristol with Ryanir in August. Due to a problem with the cargo hold of the aircraft I did not get my luggage. It took them 50 hours to deliver it (I was only on a weekend break). As a result I had to buy clean clothing and was forced to change my holiday plans.

I have written to their complaints department and they are deny any responsibility in the matter claiming I was "reunited" with my baggage within 24 hours. Which is a blatant lie.

Quite frankly they are a disgrace of an airline. This kind of thing is going on all of the time and they know we can do nothing because it such a hassle to take them to court and really not worth the effort.

But their lawyers are very quick to shut down any web site which seeks to tell the truth about their disgraceful services. Have a look at this link - http://irish.typepad.com/irisheyes/2005/02/ryanair_complai.html

There are quite clearly not the peoples airline any more!!

I think we need a campaign to boycott Ryanair. Cheap flights or not they cannot be to continue to treat their customers like dirt. Vote with your feet I say!

Never had a problem with them, until such a time as I have and if I'm p**ed off then I might vote with my feet, until then I'll continue to vote with my wallet.

But flying is so much more fun than walking.

At this stage everybody knows you get what they pay for.
You pay peanuts then don't expect hotels, taxis etc if and when it all
    goes pearshaped.
Ryanair will get you there cheaply after that they do nothing for you.
Mind you if it wasn't for Ryanair, we'd still be paying 400 Euro to travel to England with AL and BA.
