    Cheers

Only trouble is that before 7 you are usually sober, they will do themselves out of business when customers realise what they are really eating after the boozer, and never return!

So true... such dodgy food, but who can resist a taco fries after a few

you've got to be drunk to eat there.

Throw the food in the bin, eat the wrapper and wash it down with cheap softdrinks (I don't care it ain't the real stuff).

You'll enjoy it more, and your body will be much the better for it.

How do people eat that ****, and besides most of them are filthy kips!

Bargains my ass, dodgy places should be closed down.

The one on Drumcondra Road does lovely burgers. In the early evening when I'm totally sober. I think they do a deal with a drink too. I remember taking a 7Up even though I hate soft drinks so it must have been cheaper to get a burger & drink than just a burger!

LOL :D, whatever you need to tell yourself. My sister worked at the Navan branch for a year, wouldnt feed it to my dog after the crap she told me. Apparently food that briefly lands on the floor is still grand to eat.

i used to work in pest control and we used to service both eddy rockets and aberkebabra (among others) and i can tell you for a fact that any eddy rockets i visited was dirty, much worse than any aberkebabra!
It goes back to the old story that if people pay more for the same crap they think or assume that they are getting quality, think again!!

Ye, i dont really like eating from any fast foods tbh but then im a super fussy eater :o (drives my mom mad). I would doubt if any of these places pass any sort of hygiene code.

A little exposure to some germs is good for you. Builds up your immunity. You'll be in a better position to survive bird flu and live into your 90s if you have the occasional 'off the floor' kebab. :)

I don't tend to eat a lot of fast food but Abrakebabra would be a hell of a lot better than the cardboard with chemicals you get in the likes of McDonalds.

I would presume it is very similar crap.
Wasnt a abra's employee fired for **** in the garlic sauce many moons ago? or is that a myth?

    What a load of crap.

Abra have a training program, regular inspections by mystery customers, suprise inspections by senior management, in addtion to the statutory checks.

How many chinese resturants and chppers etc do you think have that many quality checks?

Of course theres bad apples in every organization, but the snobbery here where people are saying i wouldnt eat in that Irish owned francishse chain, (where none of the profits are sent back to G.W.Bush) is laughable. I know many people who worked in McDonalds and Burger King and they have their storys too, i can tell you!

I'll say it again, they have more quality checks and training than your average fast food place, be it a chipper, chinese, pizza or burger chain.

To be accurate, i have worked for them (Abra) in the past, but have no current affiliation.

Its all good and well that they are irish owned, but there is one small note : There food tastes like crap :D. Then again all fast food tastes like crap so nothing new there.

Actually, out of all the Abras I've been in, the one in Galway is the only truly dirty one really. Was in one in Cork and you could have eaten the kebab off the floor.

Their food is muck, but damn tasty muck after a few pints!
Used to always get the taco fries or bacon/cheese fries after a few pints and it was so tasty. Then one day when sober decided to have one... one bite and had to bin it. But maybe that's just the Galway one!

And their kebabs are crap, if you've ever had a proper kebab you wouldn't touch an abra kebab, even if you were blind drunk!
