IE favourites are saved as URL shortcut files in C:\Documents and Settings\AccountName\Favourites

Copy the favourites folder from old PC to new PC. It's located at C:\Documents and Settings\Your username\Favorites

OR File/Import Export and export your favs to a .htm file then move it and import into new PC

Thanks for the quick replies. Im just trying this now but running into trouble.

My pc hasnt got any sepertae users or passwords or any of that, just the basic standard set-up. When i go into C/Docs+settings/All users/Favourits,,, the favourites folder is empty and in properties it says 0Mb. Are the files hidden maybe, i cant seem to find a show all files option. Can ye tell me where to look. cheers.

Also, when i copy the favourites folder onto the other pc how i do i load them into IE?

I just remembered i have 2hd`s in the computer and i re-located the my documents folder to the other hd i think, would that mean the favourites are now somewhere else. My friend done the above for me to free up space on the main hd that has windows on it.

Where would the new "favourites folder" be now?

Just use the import/export wizard in internet explorer as biko suggested.

File -> Import and Export -> Next -> Export Favourites -> Select Favourites to export -> Export to file or address -> Finish
    Txfer the file
Then repeat using the Import favourites on the new machine.

It's also possible to back up your Favorites onto a website called mybookmarks.com and access them from any PC when you log in.
