    Hey,
Jus moving into a student hose, and i got stuck wif the room behing the living room, so basically there is a light set of curtains there, but in terms of sound its like being in the same room, i was think if i hung a duvet of the curtain rail and sealed it with insulating tape it might help, any ideas? (I need my privacy!)

to ensure proper insulation it works best if there is a gap and it is sealed well.
I am sure you are on a budget, if you can get a sheet of plywood or and then seal around this it may help.

    Thanks,
    Richard
