    Hi Guys,

Was there today for a few hours. Missed the blody yanks though but seen a good bit of all the Europeans. It was great to experience and get a proper feel of the course from walking it etc.

Its a failry ggod set up with the park and ride system. About 15min journey from south lot and no hanging around. Traffic wasnt too bad apart from m50 - no surprise.

As for the golf. McGinley and Clarke were playing some savage shots along with Stenson. Its pretty hard to se at times as it gets very crowded. My advice is to get a good seat in the grandstand at a green and stay there for a bit as you'll see a lot more...we did this at the 16th.

The course itself is immaculate. The fairways are like putting greens. For spectators though its already fairly marshy and muddy so expect worse with rain forecast. Queues for food and drink about an hour long so bring a packed lunch. I saw plenty of people with backpacks, mobiles, food n drink etc as security not as tight as i expected.

im glad im watching the rest of it at home as its fierce annoying trying to follow it with all the crowds.

Crap, bit late on this but i'll still talk. Had a great time. One of the first things that happened when i walked in was Phil Mickelson walked straight by us. Americans had started already. A good place to watch is the Grandstand behind the 13th. If your up the back, you can see the 13th green and approach shots, the 14th hole(Par 3), and the approach shots on the 15th. The grandstand on 16(near the green) is good but ya do only get that hole really. Dont bother tryin to follow a group, crowds are too big. Definately go a few holes ahead and watch all comin through. Around the 8th is good cos ya see them after the 17th aswell
