No info from DCU.

    Am I the only one who has not gotten any info from DCU on when we are back? no emails or anything in the post. nothing on my portal page. Anyone know whats the story?

    Same here, though the academic calender on the dcu site says lectures start 25th of september, so assumin thats the date. I'd like to be told though and not have to be trawlin through stuff to find out, some of its quite confusing!

    You go by the calendars, dont you, and your class timetable are up anyway. The timetables are a disgrace really, why cant they just show what you are registered for. Its messy when you are doing a course with loads of options.

    From what I've picked up around campus the last day or two.
    Lectures are definately starting on Monday.
    Most of the timetables are online if you search for them.
    I'm not sure when we're getting our student cards, but several people have said they'll be given out next week.

    As a returning student you dont get anymore info from DCU. You used to get a giro in the post, but since online registration and payment has come in, you only get a giro if you ask for it

    Lectures start next monday (the 06/07 academic calendar has been online for months now).

    The schedule for collecting student id cards is on your portal page (9 oclock on monday in the hub if your in CA).

    The daily lecture/lab timetables are available from your portal page.

    Im still getting the Timetable for the 1st year of my course. I'll have to email them. It says im registered for both the 1st and 2ndyear classes too.

    Yeah same here it says under biography that i'm still in year 2, and all my year 2 and 3 modules are under academic.

    A good way to get your new timetable is go to the my web page, then claendars and timetables, then Timetable Quick Search, and select class timetable and select your course year etc.

    And what's the story with online registration, I got charged for fees twice! And try ringing the fees office and it's feckin all automation.
