As if the excitement of the Ryder Cup being held just outside the region, we have the World Ploughing Championships in Tullow too!!:D http://www.npa.ie/ Expect mud up to your knees and cars stuck in fields!!

We had the national ploughing event here in Tullow 2 years ago and it was crazy, expecting 200,000 to visit over the 4 days.

It was a media frenzy out there yesterday! Everyone was there compiling reports and gathering footage on Bertie.

Really good out there though, the RTÉ marquee was quite good. Loads of things to do, shame it's over but at least the traffic will return to somewhat normal levels!
