Looks like an ok machine for the price, just be aware of people having various issues with laptops direct...would be a basic enough machine in its own right....what is it you use your laptop for?

most of the time i have command prompt or vnc, office apps mail so dont need high power

its not laptops direct i'm particularly worried about (one of my clients bought 3 top of the range sony's with no problem)

its the fujitsu range you dont see many of them and the spec seems very good value

Should suit down to the ground then! Its got enough power for those tasks definately , only thing I dont know about is what is Fujitsu's aftersales service + warranty situation like?

Bought an Amilo a few days ago, and no problems yet :D
Cept processor is underpowered for certain games, other than that it's a smashing laptop. I highly recommend Fijitsu

I had a v1000 for 3 years and it was a fantastically solid laptop. No problems. Recently I upgraded to a v2030, which is similar to the v3505 and is again, a superb laptop. I upgraded the RAM when I got it and its super fast. A great budget machine.

    :)

Don't buy it from Laptop direct though, u are better off buying from a local Irish reseller like Laptop Shop, Stephens Green.

Or call Fujitsu Siemens on 6204100 to find a local reseller.

Laptop shop I hear is very good, but check out your local Harvey Norman. They have good deals at times. Nice little selection in Harvey Norman Naas, if you happened to be near there...
