Anyone able to tell me, definitely, what "NVMM" is, or what it does?

I'm having intermittent problems with PC, nothing too bad or urgent, but noticed yesterday that a BIOS update is available for my board (MSI K8N Diamond Plus). But there's very little info on what the bios update actually addresses (MSI's site is all over the place :( ) other than:
    - Update NVMM version.
    - Update CPU ID.

Been googling NVMM for about an hour and still no idea what the NVMM is really about - presume, as the board has a Nvidia chipset, it means something like Nvidia Memory Manager... but that's just guessing and so can't decide whether I need it and it's worth flashing the BIOS for.

    Anyone any help or advice?

Well, NVM is generally Non-volatile memory (which is what the BIOS is).

Could it be Non-volatile memory manager?

Hmm, that's a good idea! I was getting stuck shoving "NVidia" into the "NV" bit. :)

Still don't know what that would really mean to me in the end though - change the "interface" into the BIOS maybe? Change the way I can over-clock and such? No idea!

Tried now googling NVM manager without much joy:(
