Have Lidl system pointed to Hotbird for Italian Stations. Is there any way I can get the audio in english if there is a movie being screened?

There should be an Audio or Language button on your r/c which when pressed will give you the option of choosing the language. This option only works for transmissions that broadcast multiple audio streams, like Euronews for example. It works for some film channels also.

For the LIdl /Comag receiver there is a language preference option in either the Antenna or TV setup menu under the Sound category as as far as I remember. English is the default obviously.

However some of the channels you might want to watch in English might not broadcast in English so changing from the defauly may have no effect.

Sometimes on Turkish TV "French" has english.

Mostly there is no choice of language, some use it to carry radio stations, instead ot the the "proper way".
