I'm currently using Skype for calling landlines and they come out at only 2 cent a min which is decent....

I'm looking for the best site for calling English mobiles though, as I could ring people back home rather than having to call their home landlines and hope they're in...does anyone know the best site for calling English mobiles?

    Cheers.

Voipcheap.com charges 7/c minute for calling UK mobiles, and includes 300 minutes per week of free calls to landlines - a lot cheaper than skype. (You can even call UK landlines from Irish landlines for less than 2c/minute at evenings and weekends, with dialwise.ie and other similar providers).

You should also check out www.call13434.ie not voip but carrier select their rate is 5ct/min to UK mobiles. You can also use them to call from your mobile, but there will be an additional call to their Dublin access number. However if you have plently on mins on your monthly moble plan this souldn't prove expensive and much cheaper than an International call from Voda, O2 or Meteor! Call set up fee is 5ct.
