Quick Question for Ebay sellers... Should I upgrade to premier paypal a/c or not?

    I would greatly appreciate any advice that an ebay seller could give me on this quick question...

    I am looking to start selling on Ebay shortly and currently have a personal Paypal account which will allow me to receive funds from a buyer who has another paypal account but not from someone looking to pay using a credit card.

    Before I list my first item for sale would it be better to upgrade to the premier a/c so that i can receive credit card payments from potental buyers, or should i start off with the personal a/c? (I am aware of the receive funds charges of a premier account).

    Considering that the only way to pay through paypal in Ireland is using a credit card (unless you have funds in the paypal account from a transaction) i'd say yes. In Europe there are only a few countries where you can put funds into a paypal account without credit card, I think France & Germany, possibly England so you are limiting your potential buyers.

    Yeah, I upgraded to Premier so people could buy from my auctions or send me money with credit card via Paypal, an option not open on the standard account.
