[REQUEST] Cheap wet gear

    Hi,

    Any reccomendations for where to buy cheap wet gear for a cyclist?
    Particularly trousers and galoshes.

    millets do cheap own brand 'peter storm' wet gear which is ok...

    Why not try some of the motor cyclist wet gear. Obviously not the leather stuff (unless that's your thing ;) ), but there are some good, quite cheap (€30ish) "quilted" trousers that should do the trick.

    As a fellow cyclist I wouldnt recommend anything too heavy.
    Im not sure where you live, but I have come across good bargains in Mountain Warehouse in the Rathdowney Outlet Centre otherwise wait for the sales!!!!

    picked up a great pair of trousers today in the camping shop on capel street.
    45 euro, fully waterproof with zips all the way up both legs so no need to take your shoes off to get them on :)

    Noticed dunnes in Blanch had them for a tenner. Only upto 34 inch waist though. Think the aldi ones will be 13.99 or so.
